Established three decades ago, Ramesh Tours & Travels Pvt Ltd stands as a distinguished purveyor of luxury car rentals, headquartered in Bengaluru, INDIA. Boasting an expansive fleet of over 400 vehicles, all of which are driven by professional chauffeurs, they hold the position of being the largest fleet in South India. Their expertise lies in catering to the corporate sector, ensuring impeccable service for executive and guest transportation requirements.

Challenge

The main agenda was to revamp RTT’s digital platform using modern web technologies while implementing a robust CMS to manage their expanding inventory and ensure a smooth booking process. The client also needed a secure database architecture to handle user information and reservations easily and securely.

Approach

The front-end team designed an elegant and responsive user interface using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Laravel, a robust PHP framework, was employed to develop the content management system (CMS). This allowed RTT to efficiently manage vehicle listings, pricing, availability, and other content. We used PHP for server-side scripting, and MySQL for the database, ensuring secure and scalable data storage. The integrated booking system allowed users to check availability, select rental dates, and complete the booking process seamlessly. In addition, a user registration and login system were also implemented, in order to enable customers to create accounts, save preferences, view booking history, and manage their profile information.

Result

This new platform built using the latest technologies contributed to reducing bounce rates by 35%, and increasing session duration by 48%, demonstrating enhanced user interest in browsing luxury car listings. The website migration was successfully executed without any significant disruption to SEO rankings or user experience. In fact, after migration, 90% of the website's primary keywords improved their positions in overall search engine results.
